Advertising malware inserted when browsing Amazon.com

I recently discovered adverting Malware being inserted whenever I visit the Amazon.com site using a Chrome desktop browser. Using Malwarebytes, I successfully removed “price.peeps” that was discovered during a scan. However, the malware keeps trying to insert itself, but continues to be blocked. Malwarebytes reports the source Sambreel, a company known for this intrusion.

If “price.peeps” continues to be an issue, follow the comprehensive instructions from Malware Tips.

Spider.io, a Google owned company that monitors ad fraud, confirms that Sambreel performs these malware practices on other popular web sites such as Youtube and Facebook. See  article Sambreel is Still Injecting Ads. Video Advertisers, Beware.
